Donald Trump spent more than a year rousing crowds with a simple promise: “I’ll build a great, great wall on our southern border, and I will have Mexico pay for that wall. Since the “bad hombres” were entering the United States and not leaving, Trump deemed it appropriate that Mexico would pay for this wall.

With a simple adjustment to the American flag I made this poster which depicts Trumps ultimate monument to xenophobia.

Each individual has the right of freedom of speech and expression. The freedom of information is the most important threat for antidemocratic regimes; hence, attacks against the freedom of speech are a daily occurrence on all continents. I have chosen the image of the famous videogame Pac-Man of the 80ies. Pac-Man consists of bullet casings and chases a pencil, the instrument of writing and the symbol of the freedom of expression, and tries to eat it.

The explosion of the Chernobyl nuclear power station was the worst industrial accident of any kind in history. Tens of thousands of people have died, and there is more death to come.. Nuclear power’s waste is deadly, causes cancer and genetic mutations, and there is no known way to permanently contain, dispose or neutralize it. Building more reactors simply means death.

My poster represent the fear that children feels when they are abused from their own fathers. The poster is like the shoe of the father when he is coming home and at the same time is like the door of the home with the afraid eyes of the child.

It is the second largest continent of the world. More than 1.000.000.000 people live here, spread over 54 different countries. Its territory covers about 30.200.000 km² and is split up into 6 time zones. More than 2000 languages are spoken on this continent. But still, over and over again, we only talk about “Africa”.

Form Phallus Function is more than a pun – it points out and criticizes that architecture and design have been a male domain since ever. Simplicity in color and shape, inspired by the iconic bauhaus designs, hit the nail on the head and – in a charming and humorous manner – ridicule this ever lasting motto in design. Less women are never more!

Tens of thousands of refugees are on their dangerous journey across the Mediterranean Sea to Europe. In recent years, the number of »boat people« has increased drastically, and with it the number of drowned refugees. The »SOS« sign on the horizon of the Mediterranean Sea is a call for help and a bearer for hope at the same time and requires support.

I tried to approach the themes destruction of environment and globalization in a funny way.

Trying to reach the other side of the Mediterranean Sea, hoping to find a better life, refugees often pay a high price; their own lives. They might reach another side, but a side, which does not have landing shores.

Be active, be aware, be of good cheer, be kind, be ready, be smart, love other people, take on responsibility, BE A HERO!

In many Islamic countries women rights are suppressed, there are too many rules and they have to dress in overall burkas that look like restraining cages, exposing only eyes that resemble a small prison window revealing a trace of light. This appeal is intended to loosen the restrictions on women.

In average, women are paid 22% less than men. The paper used for the poster is a German wage slip, the rest speaks for itself.

This quick sketch (originally drawn on a sticky note) is an ironical approach to clarify the paradox and misleading term “moderate rebels“. A disguised person sits in front of a TV. Holding a rifle in one hand and a TV remote in the other one. This guy does not seem to be in the mood for a rebellion. His dullness is emphasized by the words „Heute kein Bock!“ (engl. “Not Today!“).

In 2014, black male teenagers between15-19, were killed nine times more  by law enforcement officers in the U.S. than white males in that age range.

The poster takes up on the design of typical german prohibition signs and their language. There are many prohibition signs in Germany and the yellow ones with black borders are a common sight. Often applied to guard against trespassing or to keep people from putting up posters.

The signal effect and imperative nature of these signs is retained in order to play with familiar visual patterns. The command „Diskutieren statt plakatieren!“ could roughly translate to „No Posters. Discussions!“

On the surface „Diskutieren statt plakatieren!“ looks like a prohibition sign but beneath that is a demand for a more nuanced culture of discussion beyond slogans and the language of campaigning.

If we can’t keep the bees we will lose our ecosystem. So please, don’t let them leave because of us.

An overcrowded and digitally leveled humanity is in dear need for a sense of significance. Who whines is fed hot air through a thick teat, which should be be enough to fill them up.

The capitalistic exploitation logic steers us increasingly destructive to the abyss of self-destruction. Modern human beings remain in an attitude of passive endurance and seemingly comfortable self-deception, when the alternative would be a necessary revolution. We remain calm as Hindu cows and operate business as usual.

None of them did. Trapped in a net of unscrupulous and avaricious human traffickers, all over the world hundreds of thousands women are accompanied by pain and anxiety – their whole life.

The increasing amount of plastic in our oceans changes the life of millions of sea creatures. They are literally drowning in plastic. Therefore, this idea raises the question how long it may take until this flood of plastic will be washed to our shores and drown humanity? Do not ignore the threats of plastic for our planet just because you do not see it.

In this absurd and strange situation worlds collide. On the one hand you see tourists, looking for pleasure and relaxation and on the other hand refugees, risking their lives to escape war, persecution and distress. A scene where suffering of the „aliens“ cannot be ignored. The question is, however, why a legal and secure entry is not allowed to such people seeking protection.

This poster was made to talk about the absence of opinion and judgment of the people. The crisis of identity when a person just repeats and follows directions without a real personal point of view. We can see this in current social and political movements, which people blindly follow because this is the “correct form” but don’t really question anything.

Breasts don’t care if they belong to a woman or a man. In spite of this they are omnipresent in the sexualization of the female body. Even in the year 2017 it has not yet become common knowledge that all people have the right to self-determination and independence. And this applies to women and their breasts just as well. Equality means women have the right to make decisions over their own bodies. Feminism means women can choose – to show their breasts, or not.
