What we need is the Statue of Liberty or the same God like Chairman Mao! What do we really need: Freedom? Democracy? Or a common culture of the world? I combined the Chinese and Western symbols to express the embarrassment of a reality show that brings all the confusion of the cultural differences.

Residential and commercial space has become a rare and expensive thing in cities. To achieve sustainable urban development one must properly handle resources, and this includes existing buildings. This is not a rational or social issue per say, but more a question of creating a space for fresh impulses. With the right amount of commitment, dedication and active involvement, we can create attractive new forms of utilization.

We must raise awareness of vacancy within the population of our cities, and this poster is designed to just that. The main message is aimed to make the issue up close and personal, by addressing us directly. The poster mourns the state of affairs, pressing us to change something about it.

The poster announces the annihilation of the world caused by humans. The poster humorously references Posters of classic Monster Films. Because the scariest Monster of them all is not the next Godzilla but the human. In our time of the Anthropocene, he chews his way through the world while drooling all over the place. The legs and arms of the parasite wrap greedily around the world while it slowly melts. Shortage of resources, climate change and species extinction have become common problems, which require more radical actions. Because the end of the world will not happen dramatically like in a disaster movie, but slowly with every day the world is exploited by humans to the point of maximum profit.

Breasts don’t care if they belong to a woman or a man. In spite of this they are omnipresent in the sexualization of the female body. Even in the year 2017 it has not yet become common knowledge that all people have the right to self-determination and independence. And this applies to women and their breasts just as well. Equality means women have the right to make decisions over their own bodies. Feminism means women can choose – to show their breasts, or not.

This poster is a call to action: Don’t look away. Don’t stay silent. Get involved. Getting involved doesn’t mean having perfect answers—it means taking a stand. Asking questions. Standing up. Raising your voice, even if it trembles. Don’t be intimidated. Get involved. Because silence is not an option.

The worst part of bullying isn’t the leader of the angry crowd—it’s the silent followers. They see what’s happening, but say nothing, afraid of ending up on the other side.

This poster was designed to show the double moral in treating animals.
Kids are raised by their parents with books showing cute farm animals and happy people.
A wonderful world is presented to them, in which people and animals live in harmony.
On contrary the cute little pigs, sheep, and chicken are not given any second thought when they make it onto our bread for breakfast or into our dishes for lunch and dinner. We live in an illusion of a harmonic world created by ourselves, keeping our eyes shut for the harm that is done to animals.

The soccer World Cup ist becoming increasingly tainted by all the scandals, leaving the real celebration in the shadows. The champion are tose with wealth, who play with the world – not the ball.

The trowel is a tool for building. By connecting it with the symbol of the good — of love — we gain the strength of a powerful message.
Building the good is both incredibly simple and incredibly hard. But I believe that only through this act — through building the good — can we remain human in the truest, most humanistic sense.

The UN Has Lost All Credibility. United Nations climate summit turned to  war of the poor and the rich. Discrimination was made for interests of the rich at the summits.

The poster turns our traditional role models of men and women upside down by showing Olive Oyl, not Popeye, smoking a pipe and flexing her muscles.
The supposedly masculine attributes on Olivia seem rather silly and show how much clichéd role models have manifested themselves in our minds.

There are so many problems in this world that need our attention and will to change. But we focus on a poor group of people fleeing violence and war, whilst our society is being dismantled by powerful interest groups and our environment is going down the drain for profit of the very same groups. We need to focus instead of listening to self-invested politicians and profit oriented media. We also tend to forget that everything is connected and all the issues can not be seen individually – but together. Most of the blurred words amongst others are direct causes for the refugees in focus.

If one visits an art exhibition in 2023, one gets the impression that the majority of visitors spend their time creating a reproduction of the work with their smartphone or camera.
According to a study, visitors spend an average of 27 seconds in front of a work of art. But seeing a work of art, understanding, reflecting on it, and appreciating all the sensory perceptions that only the immediate experience can provide takes time.

In Darfur a civil war has cost 300.000 human lives and let 2,5 million people to flee the country since 2003. The government backed mounted militias “Dschandschawid” destroy villages, massacring and raping the population. Famine and draught further worsen the lives of the people. In the media everyday life we don´t hear much about Darfur. Many can´t even place the word. Because of this “Darfur” for me stands for the injustice in the world that we don´t know about or possibly don´t want to know about. It might be worth it to reflect on what is truly important in life and the world.

This poster shows the game world of a small child with the central theme of war, the Kalashnikov, build out of blocks. War is not a game and children should not be tempted to the use of weapons, either caused by media in our western culture or as child soldiers in armed conflicts.

Raging bulls foam for red rags, and red rags require expert guidance. The cattle longs to be driven.

An overcrowded and digitally leveled humanity is in dear need for a sense of significance. Who whines is fed hot air through a thick teat, which should be be enough to fill them up.

Over 70 years ago the fundamental human rights were enshrined by the United Nations for every human being on the planet – Yet almost everywhere around the world, women and girls are still denied them, often simply because of their gender. Ranging from the right to live free from violence and discrimination – including domestic violence, sexual assault, forced marriage, trafficking and awful practices such as female genital mutilation. To the right to be educated; to own property; to vote; to run for office; to earn an equal wage.

Despite great progress in equality between man and woman in everyday life a woman is often confronted and degraded in the planning of her future and career or in the family circle with outdated gender thinking.
This poster is a play on words with sexist elements that degrades a woman on the role of a housewife and a sex object. The poster “Ironing and getting ironed” is an exaggerated confrontation with the still often disparagingly rated life of a woman.
The woman irons well-behaved the laundry and indicates at the same time by her bare breasts that she can always be ironed. “Ironed” is a German dialect meaning: “Getting fucked”.

So often there is talk about the “equality” of men and women. However, the reality is quite different. Because women are still oppressed in many areas of society, the line on the playing card that normally divides the card into two equal parts slips down in my design. The woman feels constrained and tries to fight back, while the man, like a king, proudly rests on his privileges. The suits of spades and clubs stand anciently for the nobility and the peasantry and are meant to emphasize the statement again.

The poster is about the connection between education and democracy. A fair world is only possible if all people are responsible and capable of understanding and producing content matter. No one may be left out.

Unerringly like a striker is chasing the ball, the big business that is the driving force behind world’s soccer is hit by one scandal after the other. But time and time again there is only the yellow penalty card for the ones responsible. The spectators as well as the players are to tacit complicity. It’s time for a dismissal!
